ob Title: HSE / Safety Instructor (Edsir’s Client)
We are seeking a certified Safety Instructor for our partner client in the Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. You will design, develop, and deliver high-quality Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training programs to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and build a strong safety culture in industrial and corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities

- Instruction Delivery: Conduct dynamic safety training, emergency response drills, and interactive risk assessment workshops.
- Curriculum Design: Update safety training modules, compliance assessment tools, and instructional materials tailored to Saudi industrial standards.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate trainee competency through rigorous practical safety drills, written tests, and compliance examinations.
- Safety Auditing: Monitor training facilities and practical labs to ensure absolute compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, and local regulatory mandates.
- Incident Prevention: Educate trainees on incident investigation, hazard identification, and the proper deployment of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Workforce Alignment: Tailor safety programs to meet the specific hazardous environment needs of the Eastern Province’s industrial sectors.
Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of [Insert Number, e.g., 3+] years of dedicated experience as a safety trainer or inspector, ideally in oil & gas, construction, or heavy industry.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of risk management, fire safety, confined spaces, working at heights, and hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
- Certifications: Mandatory international certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent safety credentials.
- Communication Skills: Professional fluency in English; strong presentation skills to engage trainees effectively. Bilingual skills in Arabic are a major plus.
- Local Compliance: Familiarity with Saudi Labor Law safety regulations and HCIS (High Commission for Industrial Security) directives is highly desirable.
